Angi Moormann, N.D. recently passed the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board examination and is qualified to practice as a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor.

She is making an impact with Designed 4 Healing clients and is available for health consultations, nutrition coaching, and live and dry blood analysis.

This past week I had a gentleman come into the store looking for Vitamin B3. We got to talking and I learned both of his parents have been diagnosed with Alzheimers. He has been in Bolivar since September taking care of them and researching how he can help them. It was so interesting and I asked him if he would come and speak to our class on June 6th. He agreed. You will not want to miss this and if you know of anyone taking care of an Alzheimer’s client, please let them know. Here’s an excerpt from his email to me.

Most parents find it difficult to convert their children over to a healthier diet.  Here’s a twist on an all-time favorite dish for kids (and adults):

Mac n’ Cheese

Use quinoa or brown rice flour pasta and prepare as suggested on the package

Add 1 Tbsp organic butter (YES  real butter..NOT margarine)

 2 Tbsp vegetable broth

2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast (available at D4H)

Salt with Himalyan Pink Salt or Sea Salt to taste
