Dry Blood Cell Analysis (DBCA)  is a technique involving the use of a microscope to enlarge and examine several small blots of blood placed on a microscopic slide.  By examining the drying patterns of the blood, Angela can observe the free radical activity and detrimental conditon in the body.  Each sample of blood dries differently, thus, each formation is indicative of a different health-related issue. 

Each red blood cell is replaced with a new blood cell every 120 days, thust DBCA can identify very recent changes in the blood’s chemistry.  Bood also holds much of the history of the body.  By observing a dreid blood blot, the information provides a view of the body at a cellular level.  The researcher is able to look at tissue damage in the body caused by a variety of different environmental influences.  DBCA is not a means of diagnosing disease, but rather a way of looking at free radical damage, the fidelity of the tissues, and toxic conditions in the body.

A dark field microscope is a microscope designed to permit diversion of light rays and illumination, from the side, so that details appear light against a dark background; as opposed to light passing straight through the specimen.
